Market & UX Research

My background in market research is in both quantitative and qualitative work (though I have a specialization in, and deep love of qual work), spanning in commercial and government sectors in areas including healthcare, lead generation, education (K-12 and Higher Ed), DEIA, and employee satisfaction. UX work has been integral with my qualitative work as well as my time with the mental health start up Scenario (formerly Loop for Social Anxiety).

Lexicon & Line | Mixed Methods Project Coordinator, Executive Assistant, Communications Manager, and Business Development and Government Contracts Manager

Lexicon & Line is a social science research and evaluation company taking on projects in DEI, K-12 education, substance use prevention and youth-risk/well-being, suicide prevention, mental health, human resources and employee engagement, professional development, and community development.

Beyond normal duties as a researcher on quant and qual projects (client meetings and feedback, survey creation, data analysis coding), I wore a variety of hate for L&L. I was the communications manager and ran their email, socials, and developed their website. I also helped with business development as well as securing government contracts. I created project management tools for the company using Asana and Airtable.

Dozen Research |  Lead UX and Qualitative Research Consultant and Moderator

Dozen Research specializes in lead generation market queries for business leaders and marketers. I lead a long-term qualitative UX project for them, creating a research profile of our client and the state of their line of work, competitive analysis report, and best practices report. I conducted behavioral and attitudinal research via usability testing, user interviews, A/B testing, and surveys, as well as interviewing C-suite executives, marketers of varying levels, and users.

Scenario (formerly Loop for Social Anxiety) | UX Consultant

Loop is a live-audio, semi-anonymous service that hosts group discussions specifically for those with social anxiety and depression, or those looking to improve their social wellness. With the help of the coding and engineering team, I facilitated program development and increased engagement show rate by conducting user interviews for app updates.

KJT Group | Research Assistant

I started with KJT first as an intern and then as a research assistant. As a healthcare market research firm, I supported large-sample, international market research projects for clients in pharmacy, medical devices, biotech, therapy, and health services on treatment perception and effectiveness. I worked directly with clients in meetings to get feedback on survey tools and create timelines, I managed field data through recruitment, panel verification, quantitative survey and qualitative discussion guide creation, interview scheduling, compiling and analyzing quantitative data sets, transcribing and coding qualitative data, populating and presenting reports, and reviewing manuscripts to be published and presented at national conferences for the Medical Communications Team.
